We made our gingerbread houses on Monday. Trenton and I went with the more traditional look, while Britney and Steve opted for the Red Neck gingerbread house

We had a lot of fun. The kids are great ages and Steve and I are just trying to hang on to every moment we have with them.
We started this tradition last Christmas that we draw names betweent the four of us and whosever's name we get, we have to make them a present and we only get $15.00 to spend on the materials. We did this last year mostly because we didn't have a lot of money, but after we saw how much the kids loved it, well.....it's tradition now. Last year when we opened these gifts, the kids didn't care at all about what they were getting, they were just so excited to watch the person who's gift they had made open it, it really helped them understand what "giving" is and I felt like it made Christmas meaningful. So anyway, we did our shopping for it today and everyone is really excited about what they are doing.
We had our Primary Sacrament Meeting program a couple of weeks ago and the kids did really good. They both had a speaking part and did great! Britney even got to tell a personal story.
Well, to close with I'm going to try to plug in a picture of us when we were in Yellowstone this last summer. We had so much fun there.
