It's been a long winter and it's only half over.

Hi all! Well, we have been very busy at the Beasley home, hence the delay in updating this beautiful blog!

Christmas was fun. Everyone here got pretty much what they asked for (not big dreamers). We really had a great holiday and enjoyed spending it with friends and family. Our home-made gifts were a big hit. Trenton made Britney a shelf to hang in her room. It has a birdhouse and 2 birds on it. She loves it. Britney made Trenton a camoflauge pillowcase - which she sewed mostly by herself, and she also made a stuffed animal - a monkey. Okay - that was a crisis for mom. Actually, I panicked and begged my little sister Kellie to help her make it - THANK YOU KELLIE!
So see this monkey - there are a ton of parts. Anyway, Kellie could only spend 2 days with Britney and that didn't finish the product, so I had to finish it. I sat down in front of the sewing machine, looked at that monkey and almost cried. Someone told me one time that Heavenly Father knows how to sew. So I would pray really hard and then do a step, and then pray really hard and do another step. The Lord really can sew, because I have no idea what I did, but it did get finished, and quite well I might add.
Anyway, Steve made me a shelf that I can hang a quilt from - love it! And I made Steve.....well, I took an old metal milk jug that he want's to save forever because it belonged to his grandfather. So I painted it white, stenciled animals on it in grean and then put this shrubbery flower arangement in the top of it. FABULOUS! He loves it of course.

So we just got done with Britney's birthday. She is 10! How did that happen. We did an Around the World slumber party. Her invitations were airline tickets. When her friends showed up, we had them be seated in the airplane. Steve was the piolet, Trenton the co-piolet, and I was the Stewardess - of course.

Steve was halarious and had the girls laughing the whole time. At one point he grabbed a balloon and when we went to land he yelled, "Oh no, a flat tire!" and popped the balloon. It scared us all to death. Trenton about fell out of his chair he was laughing so hard. It was great.

So anyway, we went to Italy for dinner, Africa for a safari, China for fishing, France for a fashion show and make-over, and Mexico for a fiesta. We had them busy forever and didn't eat cake and ice-cream until 11:00. By the time they got in bed, they were so tired they were out like little lights. We had fun, but glad it is over.

So I guess I better call this quits or no one is going to ever try to read my epistle again. Love ya all. Have a great February, cause knowing me I won't write again until March.
