Well, our lives are not our own. We are owned by football, softball, school and work. I'm sure Wendy thinks I hate her, I have hardly even talked to her in the past month and a half. Trenton started football and about that same time Britney tried out and made a competition softball team. Well football is every weeknight and games on saturdays. Softball is games on mondays, practice on thursdays. Steve and I work and the kids are in school during the day. We are eating dinner at 8:00pm just about every night. Surprisingly Steve and I have been losing weight on this weird schedule. So I guess it was a lie about not eating past 7:00 if you want to lose weight.
Well, you guessed it, we are getting ready to go hunting. We figure this will probably be the last year that we will be able to go for an entire week as Britney will be starting Junior High next year and we don't think it would be a good idea for her to miss that much of 7th grade. So we are determined to go this year and make it a great and memorable time. Steve finally got his muzzleloader to shoot straight after going through almost an entire box of bulletts - whew, that was a worry. He actually has a Buck tag and a anterless elk tag to fill while we are up there. If we don't come home with some meat for my freezer, I might be the one getting the deer tag next year and he can stay in camp and do crafts!!! hee hee
We're excited because our good friends the Robinsons will be able to come up this year. It has been about 4 years since we have all been able to go together and we are looking forward to hanging out. Of course Floyd, Yvonne, and Jeromy will be there as well, it wouldn't be the hunt without them, and we wouldn't have it any other way. =) (unless of course any of the rest of you would like to join us)
The kids started school a few weeks back and they love it. They are both doing great and Trenton even made student of the month this month and got to go to Thanksgiving pointe on this last monday with the principal and the other sudents of the month. He was really excited about that. I was just glad that flu shots started that day because I was so busy at the clinic with that that I forgot he was on a field trip, so I never even worried. I hate field trips, I worry so much that something is going to go wrong.
Both Britney and Trenton have been selected to participate in SEM. I really am not sure what that is, but from what I gather, it is a "think outside the box", group. Kind of an extra for the cream of the crop. But I'm not proud. =)
We really are having a good time with there sports, it is so much fun to watch them. Steve and I could really watch them play all day long, it never gets old. They are both really quite good too. Britney's team is really new and not that great yet, but they will be together for a whole year and so they will be great by next summer for sure. She loves it and has made some great friends already. Trenton is getting really good at football. In fact tonight he sacked the quarterback and the Defensive coach just kept chanting, Beasley, Beasley, Beasley, because it was so awsome.
So now I'll see if I can find some pictures. =)
Britney playing ball with the Roy city rec team.
Does he make this look good or what?
We asked Sean to come over in his gear and teach Trenton how to tackle. They were so cute hitting each other. And Sean would take time out to tell Trenton what he was doing wrong and what would help him. We're lucky to have him for a cousin!
First day of school - don't they look so happy. =)

What's with those kids wearing the blue bandanas? Are you raising a couple of gang bangers? ha ha ha. I guess I'd better not wear red around you guys or I might get capped.
Super Super cute!!! I love watching those kids play too! I just wish we didn't live so far away :(....
P.S. yes you kind of have been living in a bubble lately....but you are an awesome mom and are taking care of your family, which is much more important. :)
Cute pictures. I wish we could come and go camping with you but we are kind of busy right now with the bathroom downstairs and Dad's house. Oh well. Love Mom
